finally, the wait is over!

after our 2 yrs wait, finally it's over.

i will be getting my hse keys on 10th July..thinking back now, all relatives and friends have been asking when when you get your keys. I have been saying from March, then April, then later June and finally it's here.

The reason for the postpone is because there is alot of problem with this developer and architect. Tiling la, then window issue then tiling issue again. In my neighbourhood forum, you can expect lots of unpleasant comments.

WOO! so so happy, we will then proceed to reno our flat after Sep 18th, which means I will only move in on mid week of Oct. Actually we can start immediately but i think better not, cos it left us with minimal time to see the rest of furnitures and to pack out stuffs. Also need to give mum some time to get use of without having me being ard at the house.

Actually it is kind of contradicting, i wana move so early so i can have my OWN HOME but then again when the thoughts of mum staying alone at home, i felt kind of upset and guilty. And since logn beforehand, I have prepared her mentally that i will move to my hse in Oct then so the plan is, Tues to Thurs - hubby not in SG, so i will to mum's place and the rest of the week at own place.

been busying looking around for furnitures, but did not purchase any yet..except for:
-Sealy King size bed..woo the thoughts of it makes me sleepy.
-LG fridge and washing machine (very KS hor? but surprisingly, the price increase leh!)

More or less, we have decided for that ID, cos he is handsome..haha and the price is reasonable. We've been asking ard 10 ID/contractors to quote but he seems to be the cheapest, compare to contractors. Of course, i am worried that he gave poor quality of work, but apparently, he did my friend's place and it looked perfect except for some minor retification. Well, no one is perfect right? Even you get the top designer, but you might not get the top carpenter (after all his team are the one who prove the results)

ID has gotten our layout ready and once we confirm the layout, he will be doing the 3D which means i need to hand in the 1st 10% downpayment liao. Poorer again. He was quite upset when he heard that we only intend to start after Lunar 7th mth. But what to do, who ask the developer so slow in passing key to HDB, then slow to us..

Dunno what this pple is doing, this must be the worst flat they have built, took so long to complete. *ROAR* lolx.

Recently, i felt agitated easily, quarrel with the driving sch boss and my boss, shan't go into details. But I wonder what is me or the weather or them that pissed me off?

Anyway, this month was Prestina birthday and we gave her a watch, which she is fond of it..and her expression was "WOAH".

Told the sisters, i am not holding my birthday at any pubs but instead my home, i can cook for them, they can the whole carton of beer, while i have my coffee. Exepected that they will say I am AUNTIE.

Mother in law is not feeling well last night, and i hope she recover soon, so she can continue to nag me or others.

Hopefully, by July, I'll get my house keys then it's time for me to reveal how small my place is.

i was so busy last 2 weeks with looking ard for furnitures/electronics and learning driving..

instead of once a week, i change to 2 times a week for driving because my instructor say i "CMI" lolx. but indeed, 2 times a week really helps alot..i can U-turn very well now..*claps claps*

Kiasu me bought my mattress, fridge and washing machine because of 'fear of loss' tactic by the salesman lor..but i buy because of their good service.

Was served by this young lady which have 5% product knowledge (in the other words, means she dunno) and we were just looking their prices for comparsion. Then came Khan who was serving other customer, then came to us to introduce the LG washing machine. Was quite fascinated with it and it was a good buy $599 with $100 NTUC voucher. But we decided to forgo since they can only keep for 2 months. Then asked him abt the fridge. He told us all brands are ok but the value buy of the week was the LG fridge. So i asked if he is the promoter for LG. He said no he is just a product specialist (any brands i like i can tell him and he will give me the information). The LG fridge is even a BEST BUY! WAS $708, NOW $579. Hubby like the fridge so much and secure the deal with $100 deposit.

Since can transfer the deposit to other items if we don't like the fridge/washing machine, we paid $200 for deposit for these 2 items. Remember i just said i decide to forgo the washing machine??? I shared my buy in the forum and everyone said it is a GOOD BUY $1178 for both items. Now it make my day and so i am going to pay full for the washing machine (in order to redeem the NTUC vouchers). What's more, my mum said she will just pass me cash and told me to buy wahtever i like! wahahaha..

The guy says there is a 12% off and i can hold delivery for 6mths. tried their bed and told him i prefer firm one (the soft one is more expensive and i feel like 晕船) Unlike other salesman, he told he will recommend what is suitable for me since i have back problem. Ok, the bed was $2500 and it was now $1999, after 12% off, it's $1759 for King size ;) good deal leh..

now, my back problem is back. was talking engrossly with sis-in-law and somehow i sprain my back again..just went to see doc and gave me 120mg painkiller(this is very strong) and i taking half day MC to rest at home.
