finally..fireworks

a short one on the fireworks..the long one is in my camera..but anyway it'ce nice of dear who decided to bring me there cos he knew i've been wanting to see..

Friday: took half day leave..went to Peach restaurant for lunch with hubby..Must agree the standard drop!! Other than the dessert, burbo hitam with ice cream in coconut, the dim sum sux! Worst than ah yat..ah yat is not that fantastic as crystal jade, but at least it's half price, so still worth it. So, was telling hubby, maybe next time, we head to the food court for main course (the korean food @ the foodcourt is NICE), then to PEACH for dessert..haha..

Saturday: went to in law place, as usual..i did not do my exercise cos my stomach ache..then at night, went to Shenton Way, behind NTUC office to see the firworks, prob the last show for this yr..it's really loud..but since we did not manage to get the tickets, we have to pay a price for seeing free.

it's raining, and we brought nephew there..so he sat on hubby shoulder thruout the whole show..the field was wet, so it's muddy and watery..and the rain come and go..so i have to shelter the nephew with umbrella on one hand and the other with the camera..so the end was hubby got shoulder pain and i got muscle ache for my both arms..and nephew came over to my place to overnight..

he slept at 11plus pm..and me and hubby watched my TV serial till 3pm. After sleeping for abt 1 hr, nephew cried (think must be nightmare or what), then i have to comfort him to sleep..then he woke up at 8am, wake me up to ask for his milk..and i nv get back to sleep again!

Sunday: nothing much, the plan was to bring him to Telok Blangah Hill for the Henderson Waves and a walk in the nature! but it was raining! URGH!.. so have to cancel and sent him home instead. And i didn't have nap again cos he was asking me to play with him etc..And I slept at 9pm..was too tired!

Kura No Naka

my Jap colleague told me it should KuraNoNaka, which sounds like "KuraNeNakan" to me..haha..anyway I'm going to learn Jap language soon!

Hmm..which should I get? The difference is only 30 bucks..i know the sling one looks better..but the A4 size one is handy when i travel for meeting and it looks for professional..i didn't saw this but it was hubby who check both of these out when he is walking ard in T2 DFS..i told him i wana get a coach white color one, A4 size, and since my cousin is going to Osaka soon, i could ask her to help me get. It's cheaper there..but hubby said he don't like coach..looks cheapo..to me, it's ok..cos i think it's stupid to buy G**ci since Coach looks similar.

opps another surprise..i wana get hugo boss sling bag for my love on our birthday..since he has been saving much for our hse and buying gifts for me..i decide to pamper on him this time round!

why hugo..something different, not many SG pple will bring their sling bags..LV one too common, burbery one abit beng, Gucci one also..Hugo more man..though it looks like normal pasar malam one..haha..anyway brother in law has 30% staff discount..so shouldn't be too ex!

Can I complain why always wkend is not enough? Why can't we have 5 days for wkend and 2 days for wkday? And just work for 2 days?!




Friday - went to in law hse for diner cos it's the 15th..then head home to finish my dvd.


Saturday - woke up at 7am then went to the temple near vivo there for praying with in laws. After which, to whampoa for breakfast then to Sengkang to see our flat in the DAY TIME!

After which, we went home for nap and later in the evening to grandmother's house.

Sunday - watch dvd, play Sims 2 Castaway on psp(i'm addicted to it), went lunch with mum then went to Clark Quay in the night for dinner. Went to this restaurant named Kura. The boss lady is a Japanese..had shabu shabu (hmm yummy) and alot of good food till I'm too full to move..the bill is about 500 for 8 pax..Dear's cousin paid for it as it was Dear's brother's birthday..Don't ask me why she is paying but she's really that generous..We bought his brother a cake from four leaves..not bad..but abit too sweet..will upload the photos when i download from my camera..

ok..back to reality!

our nest

oh..forgot to mention..we went to see the progess of our nest on national day night..



i was telling hubby, hmm..think the flat still not paint la...but to my surprise, they started after waiting for 6 months..( the construction end but they did not bother to paint the flat till now!!)
As you can see(well, it's quite dark), they started the white paint, and then they need to paint green on the unpainted side..so let's give them 2 months to do that..and another 2 months to do the internal..and another 3 months to do my flat for the floorings and doors. Meaning I will be able to move in Mar 09!




and the facilties were all done up and already open for business!

And our multi story carpark has a garden on the roof! heehee.. jalan kaya is across the road..and my house downstair has koufu and ntuc..then walk 8 mins to LRT and 3 stations to Sengkang MRT.

How to come to work in Bugis in future?

Plan A

- take LRT, then MRT to Serangoon station then take bus 100 or 107 (about 1 hr 15 mins)

Plan B

- take LRT, then MRT (NEL) to Outram, then change to EW line then to Bugis station (about 1 hr 5 mins)

Plan C

- take LRT, then MRT to Potong Pasir station then take bus 107 (about 56 mins)

Plan D

- take LRT, then MRT to bong Keng station then take bus 133 (about 53 mins)

hee..was sick for the past few weeks. So this weekend was a perfect rest time!

Saturday: National Day..went jogging in the morning then in law place..in the evening,went to dear's god brother 21st birthday @ his hse which is near Marina Bay..so we can see the firworks and the air show! haha and the fireworks started when we started singing the birthday song..so i went off to see the fireworks instead of singing for him! hahaha

Sunday: brisk walking in the morning while hubby jogged..then rest at home..but completed one hongkong serial show! finally! was supposed to go IKEA with mum to get an arm chair as a gift for dad..but dad said no and so we napped till 8pm! haha..then had dinner and watched Incredible Tales.

Monday: holiday for me but not dear..quarrelled after we played basketball..don't talk abt it but managed to settle it in the morning..then went movie with mum..Money not Enough 2..haha..a funny movie but got migrane after watching..nothing to do with the movie but the weather..so took panadol when i reach home at 5pm and nap again..till dear called me at 6pm, telling me he is on his way back!

hmm..i wonder why time passed so fast when you are with your loved ones?

just like, i met linda for lunch, i knew it's only one hr that's why i told her i prefer to see her after work so i can chat longer..and she bought me very nice mooncakes.. Raspberry cheese and Chocolate Strawberry Fondue mooncakes!! are you drooling?! and joey called to ask me to go shopping with her but i really can't! sorry dear cos I need to stay back at work tonight!

Movies

It's been a year that me and dear have not watch any movies..reason being there isn't any good movies the past 1 yr, or it's not my type. Then dear can watch it on the plane so what's the point?

Till..DARK KNIGHT was released but i wasn't really keen to watch till my precious nephew said "I WANT TO WATCH BATMAN!" and my colleague Jia Hui told me that it's a nice show..So last Fri, me and dar went to AMK hub and have dinner at the AMK market cos I told dear there's lots of good food there and he complained why i did not brought him there..

So we queue for the movie tickets (it's damn long queue) and were still deciding what to watch as the earliest was 10pm since the early shows were sold out!! And finally when it's our turn, we decided on Red Cliff cos i knew dear will enjoy (but not me!) and at the same time, we bought tickets for 3 on Sunday to watch dark knight! I know I'm kiasu but was thinking to bring my nephew there!

I really fell asleep in the show Red Cliff, but woke up again when the war started. I'm disappointed as they stopped at the exciting part and said stay tune for PART 2.

On Sunday, my precious nephew was throwing his temper so we decided not to bring him along, but instead brought his elder cousin. I knew I will like Dark Knight and true enough i stay awake for the whole show. And I love the Batman's car and muscles! hehe..

That's all for my weekend. Think this weekend, we will catch X-files and Mummy 3, but shall see if there's enough time anot cos we will have to attend his god brother's birthday @ Pasir Ris Chalet on Sat and we might need to bring mum out on Sunday to shop for phones.

Yesterday, went to Johor for meeting again. This time, they brought us for bak ku teh which i don't think it's as good as my fav bak ku teh store, which is the Klang bak ku teh @ beach road..
And after the chain of meetings, we had superior durians! all the branded one! I was having bad throat but my boss told me if i don't eat i will regret! haha..so i had few and went home to drink medicine! haha..alright back to work!
