SICK

oh my god..it was raining so heavily ytd and I am so worried that it will rain this Sunday and I am sick..sore throat and fever. Luckily, I recovered by today. As usual, when u r back from sick leave, dozen of emails and works for u to clear!

Went with Carmen for Mani and Pedi, almost late for meeting at 2pm. My manicurist is Jiazhen..she is very nice, friendly and helpful. Very nice to have her..i'm gonna booked for my next appt. Btw, you can go support her at Color Zone, Junction 8, next to Watson. $140 for 3 sessions of Mani and Pedi. Am going for the last gown fitting later. Got my daling Iricia to company me. Everything just happen so fast..this Sunday will be the photoshoot..no rain pls..thanks God!

Borrowed 3 portable fans from my colleagues, so it can keep me cool this Sunday! haha..Will upload some pics on Monday.

change of week plan

Will be going manicure and pedicure on friday lunch time instead of Thursday evening..Carmen couldn't make it so it's pointless for me to go alone. Luckily the staff there were nice, since lunch hour is only a hour so there will 2 ladies service each of us, 1 do manicure, 1 do pedicure. Hehe..


Was in bad mood these few days maybe due to mens coming. keep quarrelling with dear but able to make up with him at the end of the day. he's really nice, tolerance level super high!


Got Iricia to company me to the gown fitting this Friday, was afraid I got bully again by the staff there and Iricia can help to fight back..She told me she will be sad to go there cos..it breaks her heart(she didn't have any photos taking till now) but I manage to convince her..


Found this offer for the wedding favors..affordable to me..as u might not knw, bliss garden don't offer free favors to guests. But me and dear thought that it cannot be missed.

Comes with organza and labels..Free delivery also..U like it? I can't find the double happiness saucer..been searching high and low..Anyone knows whr to get?

My "MRS SMITH" shoes

dear dear and me went to Meridian to expand my ring, cos i need to wear my wedding ring on the left side, therefore the proposed ring need to move to the right side. And while waiting for the ring to be ready, we saw the shoes, very chi-na..but both of us agreed it looks like with the kua. Dear asked if i want to get..i told him it still early la..Jan then it's our big day so no need to get it now.

I sudden remember this coming Sunday is our photoshoot so I should buy this shoes and guess what it's only 10bucks! Cheap right. But of course, wear only with the kua. Guess I will never wear this the rest of my life.

Dear is sick today so he is resting at home. His fever not yet subdised and luckily he is not travelling this week not because of the photoshoot but just happen..sales..not so good so need not fly. Good for me!

Wedding dinner last night

Went to James's Wedding last night..@ Grand plaza park hotel, opposite excelsior hotel.
His bride look so much like Lim Siang Pin. She was wearing short bride gown for tea ceremony, something unique and purple evening gown. The photos were great, they signed up the package at white link and paid 5k for everything, 2 digitial albums, one big and one 5R if I am not wrong.

Iricia was saying I wore so sexy, the guys sitting opposite sure nose bleed. Guess what? Opposite me was 3 ah peks! haha..think they not only bleed, might even suffocate! ;p

Food was so-so cos I know my restaurant provide better food. trust me, not showing off. What I most liked was the wedding favor - it a saucer with the double happiness word and a cute cartoon couple printed on it. Made of glass, ideal for wedding favor! I will get these for my guests even Iricia liked it! Practical mah..

Had 2 glass of red wines, call a cab and the fare is $11.50, gave uncle $20 and got a change of $9. Reason for sharing: I got a old note of $5! Very beautiful! I will keep it and not use it. Thank you uncle for giving me..

dear postpone his return to tomorrow

this am, woke up and saw dear's sms. He will only be back tomorrow morning as the Emirates flight he is on waiting list and there are no vancany. Realise that actually airline has reserved seats but meant for Emirates Gold card members or other impt pple.

Kinda sad but luckily meeting my darling Iricia tonight to attend James's wedding dinner! haha..
Last night, got invited by Iricia to St James but my body was aching(due to boxercise). Even now my body ache and have problems in squatting cos knee cap is extreme painful!

Though it's suffering but I would not give up cos i seriously need to lose weight and tone up! My colleague and friends said that I have gain weight! ;( and indeed, yes, another 1kg added on! I need to control my diet..Less Carbohydrate, More fruits and veggie! Will take leave tomorrow noon to spend time with dear and fetch godparents . They will be back from their 7 days cruise to thailand.

dear is away again

dear is out of the country again..from last night till friday morning..thurday midnight flight is full and he is on waiting list..i think no chance for sure, cos he hasn't got Emirates Gold, only at Silver now..wheras Friday morning is a SQ flight and there are still seats.

I miss him alot..esp last night we teasure 2 precious hours together, the journey from his house to my house and also at my house, we had laugters and fun..watched serial movie together..

And as usual i will pull his arms, telling him not to leave..his reply will always be "Be a good girl, I am earning money for our house renovation". I am so touched. He got plenty ideas on what to do for our house, not forgetting to get contractors to build a huge wardrobe and shoes cabinet for me. (haha..so that i can enjoy mix & match of clothings everyday)
See how sweet he can be..I was complaining to him last night that wardrobe are really packed, and I have to squeeze the clothes..his reply was where got enough..you keep buying..shows that it's not enough..haha..

Sis in law went shopping for his son's suit, his son is our page boy for my wedding. but I havent's manage to find him a flower girl. too bad..less girls in my family..but will consider my cousin's daughter, she is about 2, if i am not wrong. But one problem, 2 young kids are difficult to handle cos they might hold hands in hands and throw the petals..

The suit for page boy is about 80+.Sis in law is saying not worth to buy, she asked me to check out the rental price. Maybe I shall call up the bridal shop and check it out.

And also, we sprayed our toy guns and collected my altered dress from Cindy's aunt.

Bought a band, meant to put around my leg, just like the MRS SMITH! I am EXCITED..2 more weeks to photoshoot.

MANICURE & PEDICURE on 27th Sept, payday! haha..140 for manicure and pedicure (3 sessions); top up 5 bucks for french nails. Cheap right? found this lobang in Junction 8. Best was Carmen signed up together with me so I will get a partner to chat during the session!

conclusion: I realise I sleep better when dear is next to me..so used to him beside me. IT'S A MUST TO MARRY HIM, I am so LUCKY! (p.s. he don't visit this blog so it's ok to praise him HERE)

my Panasonic LCD

I've got my Panasonic LCD 26" at $890! abit heartache cos I realise another shop selling at only $800 bucks. But it's ok, her shop was closing for the day and she waited for us and dear insisted on getting the LCD ytd cos TV was spoilt and we are really rotting in the room without TV.



WOO~ called up Shanti and she will be back on 14th Jan, a day before my wedding. Her boyfriend might be coming along! Cool! I am getting excited.



Supposed to meet up Cindy but she was sick and so..she did not turn up and luckily i was with dear,else i will be abandon. But this means, I still did not get my dress, it's still with her..ARGH!



Went with dear to this new hongkong cafe in J8..

TV spoilt

my tv is spoilt, and so need to get a new one. i'm sure dear will want to get the plasma kind so i start looking out on the papers. Called up Gordon and he told me a BAD NEWs. HE'S GOING BACK SHANGHAI END OF THIS MONTH! though i didn't know him for long but was kinda upset. i know how he feels, he will not be happy here. Shangahi has all his friends. i know he is lonely here.

Went round to look for tv, but too many choices that made me undecisive. Probably just get a cheap one sine i will stay at mum's place for another 2 years before my flat is ready.

Having a plasma will add a little color to my room esp my room is gng to be the 新人房!

Defination of 新人房: dear will officially shift in and stay with me after wedding cos flat will only be ready in another 2 years' time.

things to do to the 新人房:
-paint the walls with warm red color
-buy a new bed frame and bed
-buy new bedsheets(must be in red color)
-buy a standing lamp from IKEA
-clean my room, throw away unwanted stuffs
-decorate with '囍' 字
-make space in my wardrobe for more clothes (cos gonna shift in mine and his clothes from his house)

mum says once the room is done, is supposed to be locked and i am not suppose to enter. the final pic of my room will only show up the day before my wedding!

toy guns

manage to find 2 toy guns yesterday, but need some silver sprays on it to make it look alike. I am excited. Dear is out again but will be back tomorrow, short trip, that's makes him more tired. fly there, rest for an hour, work then nap for an hour and then take a midnight flight back again..

went to toy'r'us to search for toy guns yesterday..no findings. Joey suggests me to try the costume shop which I think it's the right move.

Dear thinks that we can try our luck at those markets or mama shop..but i don't think they sell these now..the kids nowadays want better guns..like what i say in toys'r'us yesterday, infrared red guns(see what i mean)

my slit

i send my "MRS SMITH" dress to the seamstress (cindy's auntie's friend) to open the slit on the right side. $6 only! cheap cheap! waiting to see the final result of the dress. She said will be ready in 3 days time. I am excited, need to start to source my toy gunsx2 for dear and me. but, i need a black band, wonder why to find that? maybe should try concourse, cos they sell some party stuffs there..

ok, conclusion: i am not fat nor thin. just need to tone my fats. so i sign up with company boxercise. $40 for 12 sessions. worth it, but i missed one lesson liao cos ytd they started.

881 - for senior citizen only

went with mum to watch 881 last night..the cinema is 50% occupied with senior citizens..and after the show i asked mum, "you enjoy?" her reply was "ok la". so it means she enjoyed, but not me. it's super boring lor, halfway story, then sing..the only thing i enjoyed was the hokkien jokes.

this movie is only for singaporeans..cos mainly local jokes. but i did not fall asleep during the show mainly cos i dun want mum to feel that i am not sincere, afterall i think it's better that i spend more time with her if not after i have kids etc..

videographer

called up allen to check how much he paid for a videographer for his BIG day. his reply was 1k++ for both photographer and videographer. check on the net..it cost $688 for a videographer..

Asked allen for his opinion and his reply was: "Do you want the memories?" Hmm ..i am thinking since i had a photographer for the BIG day and there will be memories capture so why do i need to spend extra for extra memories? well..maybe i should discuss with dear about it and see what is his opinion..

hope to catch up with allen and gene soon to see their honeymoon and wedding pics, and also to talk to them about what to do for the coming BIG DAY, not to mention that both of them will be my MCs. lovely isn't it? a couple friend as our MCs.

dear is coming back

sorry joey.. hubby will be back tomorrow noon. looks like we gonna postpone drinking session to next week again.

went out lunch with big boss, and each time when i am back lunch with him, i always felt fortunate. so many pple in the office doted me so much. how can i bear to leave this office? forward lixuan's resume to my mechnical director, looks like he's gonna hire her as he had forward her resume to HR. see what i meant..

oh no..been raining for days. I am damn worried that on the Photoshoot day, it will rain. Then i have to pay $100 for another day shoot. but luckily i bargain for one time free.

but it looks like it's raining everyday non stop. ;~ HELP!

FRIENDS, pls help to pray that it doesn't rain on SEPT 30. I am not asking for alot but just don't rain from 12pm to 8pm. That's all. Just 8 hours no rain, k.

dear is out of town again..and i am home alone again. but my week will still be packed.

See how fast time can pass..hope dear get confirmed in this job. i know he likes this job alot though it's tiring. it's better than those previous, where either nothing to do except rot or stand till legs ached.

invitation cards ready!

Invitation cards are all ready. Dear and me collected the cards last Sat. The manager said that we might want to bring our video show for dry run days before our big day, to test if my video format works.


The first invitation card go to Ferlene and her boyfriend, Louis. hehe..I have to send her cards to Gold Coast before she move to Brisbane, that's explain why the hurry. Anywaya, she called me last Friday, i was pretty shocked and happy to receive her calls. Imagine the last day I met her was 2 years ago when me and dear just start to date each other.. haha.

Such nice of her..that she bought a ticket to come to my wedding, and of course to visit her relatives and friends. At the same time, a holiday for her and her boyfriend.

FERLENE, I CANT WAIT TO SEE U!!
