I did not go anywhere for Xmas except dinner & mahjong with Aunties & mum, cos hubby isn't around and I felt Xmas is a day to be with your loved ones. These are the gifts that I have received in 2008! But the best gift was my bonus. haha.

a mother's love

hubby was sick and feeling cold yesterday when we were at his mum's place. his mum bought supper back after mahjong and usually hubby will be gluttonist, looking excited towards the supper..but he's sick and had no appetite and his family realised the difference in him. They can feel that he is sick but I don't sense it.

He will have to inform me which he did(before his family sense that). he told me he got a headache, and I have it too in early noon as both of us were engrossed in the PSP game called "Buzz off". It was a brain teaser game. So i think having a headache is no big deal as he already took the panadol, till he vomitted on our way back. he has to park aside to finish the gross thing. haha..told him to take MC today but this morning he was much better so he head back to work..

And just, I received a call from my in laws, asking me how is their son? It sounds like they have married their son to me, so it my duty to take care of him (i'm not complaining, instead felt proud cos i can look after a big man *winks*). I simplt felt the love from his mum towards him.
This reminds me that there was a week where I had fever for 4 days and hubby was not ard, my mum take good care of me and my in law to call and ask if I am recovering..

Mothers are the greatest gift to anyone in this world. I will like to share the same that I have got to my children in future.

finally, complete my Jap test yesterday. Will know the results today. Of course, I pray hard to pass so I can get to the next level but it's not easy. I am too over confident thus I didn't study alot of vocabs and particles cos I thought I know..haiz..

anyway, went to one of the uncle's funeral last night, the uncle who just celebrated his 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary..and now he's gone..but the family knew it as he has the 3rd of 4th stage cancer. Saw a news that mentioned Cancer is the No 1 killer and yes it is.

Pls don't always say "aiyah smoker die early for lung cancer". not true lor. My neighbour is a vegetarian, a devoted buddhist who dun smoke nor drink alchol. And he has 3rd stage cancer, from throat spread to his tongue. His tongue is half gone. And to be frank, don't knw how long more he can live. He is only 30plus with 2 young daughter. I mean real young, 1 is only 1 yr old and the other is about 3 yrs old. But this is life. I chose to believe it is predicted.

When I was at the funeral, hubby called and said he can't fly back, which means he will not be back on Fri! Oh my god, I am so sad. A most lonely Friday. So I called SQ hotline as they mentioned 24hrs hotline..I wait and wait and wait, for about 15 mins, then finally someone pick up. Manage to change his flight for his so he will be back on Sat night. *Sad*

Before you scroll, let me explain, this is the view which my flat suppose to have for at least the next 3 years, cos i knew they are going to build flats on this patch of greenery..but till i saw my block layout then i realise i am wrong!! As mentioned in the previous blog, my flat face another blk and in between is a mulit story carpark..

And I have not got my key yet as I supposed it will be next June..these photos are extract from a site whereby my future neighbours sneaked into the site and took it.

all along i thought this is my unit..

till i started visit this forum: www.sengkang.com and search my fernvale courts(i thought it's fernvale groove) and i realise my unit dun face the big green field but face the other blk, but still got a mulit carpark in btw (which is abt 7 story mulit carpark). No much effect on my unit but behind the carpark is another blk, so some wind will be block and no green scene! ARGH!

update more abt my flat the next blog. time to go home!

another few months i did not step to theatre for movies..

there is 2 good cartoon movies(i look at the ratings) now, since xmas is coming and i have not bring my nephews out for quite some time so maybe this weekend..

Actually I wana watched both! but I don't think the 5 yr old nephew can sit still in the theatre for continous 3 hours, or he might actually doze off..


can't wait dear to be back..oh yah, need to visit his aunty, she was admitted to ttsh due to heart problem..can u imagine her heartbeat actually dropped to 20++ only?

I bet you must be shouting WOW! GOOD BUY! but hold on, we were stuck in the jam for 30 mins and missed our BK breakfast! ;~~ The jam is because of John Little sale and Sitex, if John Little wasn't holding any sale then sure no jam..

After getting the camera, we rush down to Orchard Paragon, to exchange my Long Champs bag and the salesperson said they need 2 months to send back to France and investigate. I was shocked..a cheap 100+ bag also need to send back? the shipping charges are more than the bag value liao! Anyway, also went to get Aussino bedsheets for CNY! haha..cos got my birthday discount so that's why get so early..anyway i got a silk feel quilt cover and i realy love it so much! it gonna be comfortable.. oh i can't wait for CNY to come! but i hate the 'giving angbao portion'..sign~ haha..it gonna take away half of our bonus..and this half can buy one LV bag..so i'm giving up on the LV bag to give angbao..haha what a joke!

Oh yah, went to Juigoy wedding last sat at Novotel Clark Quay..food was bad..but enjoyed myself cos busy chatting with Kristen. JG wedding was special, their friends used the dragon boat paddles when they march in like how you see the Guard of honour kind..and their photographer was good! this min he took down their photos, next min the photos were up in the screen! Bet he paid good $$ for the photographer.
