i love beauty credit

Months back, i was been introduced by my sis-in-law of their lovely red wine toner..but it was expensive, $39.90 for a bttle. And then, 3 mths ago, they have sale and it's buy one get one free, but the item must be $30 and above. So I bought 2 bttles of toner and 2 face powder..very lovely case.

Yesterday, met with with prestina, jolene and cindy for dinner and was at bugis when i saw the beauty credit roadshow and it's on SALE. This time round, also buy one get one free but in regardless of the amt! I bought 2 mascara, as the red wine toner was out of stock. And I called my sis-in-law, telling her abt the sale and it will end this Sun. Without any hesistation, she asked her hubby to drive her down and it really crazy shop till they drop. FYI, her hubby which my hubby's brother is a AH HIAO. He do mask, toner, mositurizer blah blah..and willing to pay 100plus to cut his hair lor..

Anyway, they did not manage to collect all the stuffs they bought as it was out of stock, so gonna pick for them during lunch and i gonna see what stock they have replenished today..so gonna spend again.. ;(

And..not forgetting to mention that things has start to turn bright for hubby's career. His manager was been asked to step out of the sales dept so no more super bossy manager for hubby! And he will be entitled to commission soon!(he's not getting the commission but only the travel allowance since he's confirmed last Sept) - means we can save more $$ for hse reno! Yipee!

terrible things have been happening..

and even to my family and friend..

grandma had mild stroke and was admitted to TTSH yesterday. And I'm worried for mum cos she really loved grandma alot alot..the last time when grandpa passed away due to stroke, mum and I had never stop crying. But nothing gonna happen to grandma. She gonna survived thru till I have give birth to a great grand children for her!

Last midnight, I received a sms from my best colleague aka friend..that her dad passed away..She got married last week and at least her dad survived through her wedding and it might one of his wish before he passed away. Anyway, hope she feels better for the sake of her baby though i knew it's gonna be a tough period for her. Luckily, her hubby is back tonight..

i think i gonna fall sick soon..and need to head to hospital to visit grandma, and after which to my friend's dad's wake. but I need to stay strong cos I'm still on probation and there will be no annual leave and sick leave from now till August. Argh!

2nd june will be the my basic theory test, hope i pass this time round. I hate the embarassment when the screen flash 'FAILED' and everyone nbehind or next to you can see it!

a week to my new job

it's been a week since i'm here at the new environment and different job scope.
so far so good. except there isn't a REAL MAN in the office other than the GM. My boss and other managers sounds so soft to me. I mean they aren't manly as compare to the previous co and the GM.

good abt soft spoken boss, even when they're scolding you or sacarsticsm, it doesn't sound like, cos it's in soft tone ;p but of course i felt it. for eg. last Fri, at 5.29pm(i knock off at 5.30pm), when i was on standby mode to leave the office as hubby was waiting at the roundabt downstair, the phone rang and it was for me.

it's my subcon from JB,asking me to arrange a shipment as my boss isn't ard. End up, I had to do it despite i told the Snr Mgr that, "Erm..my hubby is waiting for me downstair." and he ended the day with, "I remember you told me during the interview that you can do OT right, so not a problem right?"

Yes, I can do OT but my hubby is back on Friday, i can do anyday except Friday ma. Must also spare a thought for me. I nv see my hubby for so many days. And since I already agreed to stay on, don't have to be sacarstic right?

Last week, there's a funny employer who called and asked if i'm still looking for job and I replied no but she kept insist that i should head down for a try and even before any interview, she said she will pay higher. But anyway, i did not attend cos I felt something is wrong somewhr.

And my ex-boss called me to check on something due to audit is coming and he got no one to turn to, that's explain. Before he ends the call, he said, "Do you still want to come back?" I replied, "errr"..then he said, "you think about it and let me know".

If he asked me the week before last week, I will still agreed but now no. Reason..my indirect boss aka brother has left though he's been there for 16 yrs, plus the current co offers better opportunity and bonus. I will need to head to the sub con's office at JB for meeting every once in a mth and attend meetings with suppliers. Lots of new challenges.

a total change in life

My life has changed since last Friday. The car loan got approved and we got our car key. Dear bought a Toyota Vios, a 2nd hand car, so it's something that we can afford. And immediate after we collected the keys, head straight home to collect our bags and then head for cruise.

Cruise..hmm..nothing much..the swimming pool was meant for kids and the casino was meant for the rich. So the 1st day, we had the bbq dinner. It was at the top deck, open space area. But the bbq is not done by you but the chef. So Iricia thought we could have 6 meals a day. I was thinking it more like 6 meals for the whole trip. So we checked and I'm right. And so, met up with my colleague and his wife there. And together at 10pm, we went for KTV competition and dear went to slp (he just came back from Dubai the same day).

And for KTV, my colleague and his wife got the medal while I got nothing. They were such a great singers!

the 2nd day..early in the morning, we head for breakfast, then me and iricia went for sauna, steam and jacuzzi and it's not free. you got to pay..then lunch, nap and dinner and slp. Boring right?

the last day, we got up super early to see the sunrise and then breakfast then home! everyone else agreed we would never board the weekend cruise anymore! haha..photos are with Iricia so when I meet her on Sunday, I will then get a copy.

Last but not least, on monday, i tender at the stupid place. And was looking for job and went to Toshiba on Monday for 2nd interview for the buyer job.

And on Wed, they called me and said I got the job! YEAH! i knw a Japan MNC isn't better than US MNC firm but at least it's better than the stupid place! I'm starting work on 5th May.
